Many are in agreement that Manchester City and Liverpool will contest the Premier League title this season.
After four games of the campaign both are unbeaten and seemed to have developed their own mini-league which could easily see them hit the 100 points mark.
Therefore, the rest of the division are fighting to either seal a European spot or avoid relegation.
Before a ball was kicked in August, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester United were tipped to challenge for the two remaining top four spots.
Not much separates the quartet in the table right now, so what are the chances the order of position changes before the international break in October?
Football.london takes a look at the next four Premier League fixtures in the battle for a Champions League spot come the end of the season.
Sept 14/15
Man United vs Leicester
Tottenham vs Crystal Palace
Wolves vs Chelsea
Watford vs Arsenal
It's hard to see anything other than a guaranteed Tottenham win this weekend - unless Crystal Palace provide a shock just like they did at Old Trafford last month.
On current form United could drop points at home to the Foxes, Wolves away is tough for any team and the Gunners' form on the road isn't great and they'll be facing a Watford side under new management.
Sept 21/22
Leicester City vs Tottenham
West Ham vs Man United
Arsenal vs Aston Villa
Chelsea vs Liverpool
Spurs have the chance to send a message to their top-four rivals as they play first on the weekend after fixtures in Europe. They face an ever improving Leicester side but do have a fine record at the King Power Stadium.
Three points are crucial for Mauricio Pochettino's side as Arsenal will be expected to get the better of Aston Villa at the Emirates, while Chelsea and United have tough games.
Sept 28/30
Chelsea vs Brighton
Tottenham vs Southampton
Man United vs Arsenal
Expect Spurs and the Blues to pick up maximum points in their respective home games, meaning all eyes will be on the clash at Old Trafford on the Monday night where either United or Arsenal will drop points.
Maybe both?
Oct 5/6
Brighton vs Spurs
Arsenal vs Bournemouth
Southampton vs Chelsea
Newcastle vs Man United
All four sides won their respective corresponding fixtures last season. These games comes after the second batch of midweek action in Europe and only Arsenal will be at home.
Brighton under new management will be a different proposition, Southampton at St Mary's are decent and it's difficult to predict what Man United side will turn up from week to week.
