Following their sold-out show at the Empire Music Hall earlier this year, The Academic have confirmed a return to Belfast in 2020.
Formed in their early teens, the band has emerged as one of the most exciting indie-rock bands in Ireland.
They went viral back in 2017 with a world-first video, where they used the delay loop on Facebook's live video section to create a unique version of their single 'Bear Claws'.
Drawing comparisons with the likes of Twenty One Pilots, The Strokes and Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Academic released their excellent debut album, Tales From The Backseat, last year, to critical acclaim.
Following this, they then had the honour of opening for The Rolling Stones back during the summer of 2018.
Now, the band will perform their biggest Northern Irish show to date at the Ulster Hall , on May 22.
Tickets go on sale Friday 13 December at 9am.
