The Wordle craze has hit so much that the New York Times is acquiring the once-a-day word guessing game that has spawned memes, knockoff versions and so much more.
So while we get to enjoy the game until it potentially goes behind a paywall someday, it’s a good time to reflect on all that hard work we’ve all done to solve (or not) some of the toughest words to get — if you’ve ever seen, say, Wordle 226 X/6 trending on Twitter, you know it’s a word a lot of people missed.
So here’s a list of the 10 toughest words we’ve encountered. We’ll update this one as more come up.
