Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with a move for highly-rated Reading midfielder Michael Olise.
The Blues and the Gunners are reported to be among a string of clubs interested in the 18-year-old Frenchman. Liverpool, Everton, Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also keen, according to TEAMtalk.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, AS Monaco and Napoli have been credited with an interest, too.
Now, Football Insider are reporting that Olise has an £8million release clause in his current contract with Reading. This could put potential suitors on alert ahead of the January transfer window.
Olise came through the youth ranks at Reading and has gone on to make 37 first-team appearances to date. He has started all nine of the Royals' Championship fixtures so far this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process.
The France youth international has helped Reading climb to the top of the table, three points ahead of Swansea City and with a game in hand Leeds are said to have made Olise a 'top target' for January after their summer move for Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance fell through shortly before the deadline.
