And that could have a real impact on the Premier League title race this season.
The Reds stormed to the title last year, claiming the crown by a whopping 18 points from Manchester City.
Things look to be tighter this time around, with the Reds dropping almost as many points already in the first ten games of the season as they did in the entirety of the last campaign.
A 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday lunchtime took Jurgen Klopp's men back to the top of the table, a point ahead of Tottenham who now have a game in hand and the opportunity to go back to the top of the table when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Tottenham take on Liverpool in a couple of weeks' time, with the clash at Anfield live on Amazon Prime on Wednesday, December 16.
And Spurs may find they have a real advantage going into the game with Liverpool's injury list increasing by the game. The Reds could be without as many as EIGHT first team players for the clash with Spurs, although they could welcome two players back into the fold before then.
James Milner was the latest name to be added to that list, going off with a hamstring injury against Brighton on Saturday lunchtime.
