The 8 parts of Nottinghamshire with more than 150 coronavirus cases

Eight parts of Nottinghamshire have now had more than 150 cases of coronavirus.

New data shows that Beeston North has the highest number of cases with 263 confirmed, while West Bridgford has 248 cases.

The neighbourhood which encompasses Lowdham, Bleasby & Gunthorpe has also had a high number of cases of the virus.

Nottinghamshire County Council's surveillance report revealed that there were 2,241 new cases in the week to October 18.

The report also revealed that the median age for diagnosis has changed to 35-years-old in the county. The news comes as Nottingham's hospital trust confirmed that non-urgent surgery has been halted as Covid admissions spike to levels seen in April.

A decision is expected on Nottingham's future after talks between Nottinghamshire MPs and the Government have concluded.

The report summarises information from the surveillance system which is used to monitor the cases of the coronavirus pandemic in Nottinghamshire, excluding Nottingham city.

The areas below have been grouped as Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs) which are slightly larger than wards but smaller than whole districts.

The places with more than 150 cases

Beeston North - 263

West Bridgford - 248

Lowdham, Bleasby & Gunthorpe - 213

Beeston Town - 193

Woodthorpe & Arno Vale - 185

Kimberley South, Trowell - 175

Cotgrave - 163

Hucknall Town - 151
