The 8 Hearts fixtures to be moved due to Europa League or Europa Conference League group stages

The 2022/23 Scottish Premiership fixtures are out, but Hearts fans should expect a few changes to their schedule.

The Jambos kick-off the campaign at home to Ross County at the end of July, but from mid-August, they’ll be playing Thursday-Sunday until at least November.

Robbie Neilson guided his side to a comfortable third placed finish last term and thanks to also reaching the Scottish Cup final, guaranteed European group stage football.

They enter the Europa League play-off round, leaving just 180 minutes away from the lucrative group stage.

There’s a safety net in place however, as they’ll drop straight into the same stage of the Europa Conference league should they be knocked out.

That will still net them a cool £3.5million in revenue.

But finishing best of the rest again could prove trickier given Hearts ' additional workload.

A number of games will need to be moved due to their commitments on the continent with the Jambos facing a hectic schedule during the second half of 2022.

Hearts fixtures to be moved

Celtic A, Saturday August 20

St Johnstone H, Saturday August 27

St Mirren H, Saturday September 10

Motherwell A, Saturday September 17

Kilmarnock A, Saturday October 8

Aberdeen A, Saturday October 15

Ross County A, Saturday October 29

Motherwell H, Saturday November 5
