The £8.69 product women are raving about to banish the chub rub

We love the warmer weather don't we, but it sometimes brings problems of its own - one of them being the dreaded 'chub rub'.

Unfortunately for many people, sweating and chafing come hand in hand with the hot weather and can make for pretty uncomfortable walks.

But thousands of women are raving about a product they say stops the chafing and helps keep you cooler.

The Chub Rub shorts from Snag Tights have been available in neutral colours for while, but a 'colourful upgrade' this week - with 'a fruit salad edition' of varying shades, has customers even more excited.

The retailer's Facebook page is filled with comments from women praising the 'godsend' shorts.

Snag Tights has just launched a range of new colours (Snag Tights)

"Oh how I wish Chub Rubs had existed when I used to walk a couple of miles to work everyday," said one customer. "I tried everything, Vaseline, talc, wearing tights and I still got really sore inner thighs.

"I now carry a pair of Chubb Rubs whenever I go out for the day and prefer to wear a dress/skirt. I can even go out for a long walk around my favourite beach wearing a swimsuit, knowing if the chaffing strikes it's Chub Rubs to the rescue."

"I love my chub rub shorts," said another. "It doesn't matter what dress size I've been, I've always had thick thighs and summer has always been hell. I'm currently my largest in the tum bum and thigh area and living with the dreaded menopause. Your Chub Rubs save my life."

Colours in the new range include pomegranate, lemon, blueberry, dragon fruit, juniper and white.

Made from tights material they're designed to wear under skirts or dresses with the 'moisture-wicking material and cotton gussets' promising to 'keep you fresh and rub-free'. You can also get them in capri length from the same tights material.

Both cost £8.69 a pair, in any size, and can be ordered online.
