The 7 things you need to know before seeing Chappell Roan in Edinburgh

Chappell Roan is performing at Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre as part of the Summer Sessions taking place in the city.

The sensational artist, who has risen to fame thanks to hit songs like Hot To Go and Pink Pony Club, will take to the stage on two nights, much to the delight of fans.

If you're going to the concerts this August, here is everything you need to know.

When is Chappell Roan coming to Edinburgh?

Chappell Roan will play at the Royal Highland Centre (formerly the Royal Highland Showground) on Tuesday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 27.

Doors for both Scottish shows will open at around 4pm, according to Ticketmaster.

Who is supporting Chappell Roan in Edinburgh?

While no supporting act has been announced for Chappell Roan specifically, there will be appearances from Sam Fender, Twin Atlantic, Jamie Webster and more at the Summer Sessions.

Sadly, there are no tickets left, with these selling out very quickly when the dates were announced.

The Summer Sessions website states: "Do not bring single-use disposable vapes. They pollute the environment, and incorrect disposal of these can be hazardous onsite and at waste centres."

It added that the following items are banned: "Bags and rucksacks larger than 30cm x 42cm (the size of a sheet of A3 paper), all glass (including perfume bottles), metal/hard plastic bottles, food or drink/liquids even if unopened, drugs, new psychoactive substances (NPS), flares or smoke canisters (you will be charged by the Police), chairs, professional cameras, selfie sticks, umbrellas, weapons, frisbees/boomerangs and hi-vis tabards or jackets. 

Those attending may be refused entry, ejected or arrested if they bring a prohibited item.

What age restrictions are in place for Chappell Roan's Edinburgh shows?

No persons under the age of 12 are permitted into the venue, with those aged 12 to 15 needing to be accompanied by an adult aged 21 and over.

How to get to the Royal Highland Centre from Edinburgh

Those wishing to get to the centre from Edinburgh have a number of options, according to the Royal Highland Centre website.

Bus - Bus services like the Airlink 100, Skylink 200 and 300, as well as services 20 and 63, take attendees to or near the centre.

Trams - Trams connect the Scottish capital with the venue. All travellers need to do is get off at the Ingliston P&R stop near the showground.

Car - The venue is located next to [[Edinburgh]] Airport, placing it within minutes of the M8 and M9.
