The 6 Boldest Moments On Love Island Aus That Had Us Shook All Season
The villa doors are officially closed. But before we can kiss this smooch fest goodbye, we definitely have to debrief on all the bold choices that had us shook, scared and panicking this season. Here are the six boldest moments from Love Island Australia 2025.
One by one, we saw our islanders-turned-lovers (and some turned-bitter) run amok under the Mallorca sun.
While we had a bunch of our faves that we were rooting for, only one couple can win and take home that sweet, sweet dosh.
In 2025, Jana and Kye were the ones who were crowned winners of Love Island Australia 2025.
With that all done and dusted, we unfortunately have to wait another 365 days for another round of sexy singles (and bombs) to bring us some fresh reality TV tea.
But hey, before we do that, let’s unpack, shall we?
This recap is brought to you by Vodka Cruiser, the home of celebrating bold choices just like the ones we’ve seen this season.
1. Isabel’s dramatic exit
During a fiery pit sesh, our Love Island Australia superfans sent the villa into a tizzy when they voted Isabel as their least favourite islander.
As a result, the 27-year-old business owner, who had a strong connection with Conor, was ultimately dumped. Conor, of course, left with her.
The reason behind her elimination made her fume so much that she even took aim at the superfans head-on, telling them that she and Conor were the “most authentic” couple on the show.
Isabel was so upset that she refused to do an exit interview. YIKES.
2. The boys on tour at Hotel Amor
Unlike other Love Island shows that feature Casa Amor, Australia’s version is so messy it has Hotel Amor.
That means those who are invited to Hotel Amor are allowed to spend the night with the incoming bombshells outside of the villa.
In this year’s round of Hotel Amor madness, Kye was invited by Emma and Jotham was invited by Jaide.
Although Kye seemed to be going strong with Yana, and things seemed to be on the mend for Jotham and Gabby, both boys kissed their bombs outside of the superfans votes.
Spicy, amirite?
Kye came back to the villa alone, despite his little rendezvous. As for Jotham… well, let’s just say Gabby and him are not endgame, but viewers saw that from a mile away.
3. Emma blasts Yana and Kye
We can’t talk about bold choices and bold moments without mentioning Movie Night.
This is basically when Love Island producers get to be naughty and show the receipts of everyone’s messy behaviour on a large screen for all the remaining islanders to see.
2025’s shebang was quite a wild one, but the biggest highlight (in terms of drama) was definitely when “Kye Hard” played, revealing Kye’s saucy, saucy time in Hotel Amor. After the film, Kye tried to defend himself, but to no avail.
Emma then came for him, Yana then came for her, and then Emma clapped back with this golden piece of dialogue that everyone needs to hear in their life at least once.
“He’s literally cheated on you so many times, why do you want to be with him? He’s a dog,” Emma said as I clapped slowly from the dimly lit PEDESTRIAN.TV office.
4. Gabby is up and out
A self elimination is ALWAYS a moment that has people shook. After a tough couple of weeks, the polarising Gabby decided to leave in the final week.
As a result, Josh was also dumped. A very short ‘n’ sweet moment for our Joshy. He will be missed <3
5. A game of Love or Greed
In one of the biggest Love Island Australia twists, Sophie Monk tempted our islanders with a game of Love or Greed.
Basically, Monk offered $20K to our islanders, and the first person to stand up and grab it would then keep the dosh. However, the person they’re coupled up with will be dumped from the island as a result of their greed.
Dylan took the money, eliminating Kodi and himself from Love Island.
Dylan is now the first person in Love Island history to pick money over love.
Oh, and on top of the $20K, Monk revealed that Dylan’s decision also reduced the grand prize of Love Island from $50K to $30K. Talk about selfish.
6. Our winners!
After weeks upon weeks of drama, we’ve finally got our winners!!!
Congratulations, Yana and Kye!
Look, they didn’t get the $50K (thanks, Dylan) but they did get some dosh, and hopefully some love.
But hey, only time will tell if these two are still going strong beyond the villa.
That’s us for 2025! Come around next year for more bold (and of course, cooked) choices in the Love Island Australia villa.
