The 6 best Alfredo Morelos Rangers goal celebrations as striker joins the 100 club

If there's one thing everyone can agree on when it comes to Alfredo Morelos it's that he's never knowingly understated.

The Rangers striker joined the 100 goals club with his opener against St Mirren on Sunday, sending his side back to the top of the league in the process.

His celebration was typically exuberant, with the images going viral on social media.

It means Morelos is just seven goals short of the record for an overseas player, with South African Johnny Hubbard on 106.

It's far from the only time we've seen him go mad after a goal, and here are some of the best.

vs Dunfermline (August 9, 2017)

El Bufalo bagged his first two goals for his new club in a League Cup tie back in August 2017.

Morelos showed what was to come with a brace in a 6-0 win over Allan Johnston's Pars.

And as would become customary the celebration was a belter, with Morelos pointing to his jersey before giving a theatrical shrug to the crowd.

We're used to seeing Morelos either going crazy after scoring, or delivering a resounding GIRFUY.

It was a very different story against Young Boys in a 2019 Europa League game.

The striker had missed a crucial penalty days earlier as Rangers lost the League Cup final to Celtic.

And Morelos gave an apology to the fans after finding the back of the net against the Swiss.

vs Motherwell (December 15, 2019)

The muted Morelos didn't last long as he received a red card just days later for his celebration against Motherwell.

Having taken stick from the home fans all game long, El Bufalo opened the scoring for his side.

Pointing to his ears as if to say "you're not singing anymore", he then gave a gesture to the stands that required no interpretation.

Morelos was shown a second yellow card for his celebration.

vs Livingston (March 3, 2021)

It wasn't all about Alfie as he scored a crucial winner which all but guaranteed Rangers the title.

Steven Gerrard's side looked like dropping two points in a stodgy match against Livingston before Morelos tapped in a late winner.

It put his team within four points of the Premiership crown and sparked wild celebrations not only from the scorer but the Rangers team and staff.

vs Celtic (March 21, 2021)

It took him a while to bag a goal against Rangers' most bitter rivals, and Morelos made sure to rub it in when he did.

At Celtic Park he gave it a knee slide, a 'shush' and a mocking 10 fingers up as he finally broke his duck.

The Colombian then scored at Ibrox in the final match of the season and responded with a Salt Bae impression.

vs St Mirren (October 25, 2021)

Hitting 100 goals for your club is a special moment for any player and Morelos was always going to celebrate it in style.

The 25-year-old nodded home from close range to reach his century, with Gerrard having challenged him to up his scoring record.

Morelos ran and jumped into the crowd, before beating his chest and roaring his delight.

It was up there with the best Bufalo celebrations and unlikely to be the last one we'll see.
