Arsenal's season ended on a high on Saturday after Mikel Arteta's side defeat Chelsea in the FA Cup final at the Wembley Stadium.
A brace from captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fired the Gunners towards victory, which provides the added boost of involvement in the Europa League next season.
That will provide a significant boost in the hunt for new signings, as involvement in continental competitions issues a financial payout.
The Gunners will earn a total of £3.6million prize money as a result of their FA Cup final win over Chelsea, not including the money earned for wins in earlier rounds.
They will also earn £2.6million just for entering the Europa League group stage, with a further £7.5million of gate receipts expected if fans are able to enter the Emirates for those three group games.
Aside from the guaranteed money, Arsenal could earn a further £900k for each win in the group stage, giving them a maximum total income of £5.4m in additional revenue.
There’s also a £900k bonus for topping the group as well as payments of £450k for reaching the Round of 32, £990k for reaching the Round of 16 then £1.3m for playing in the quarter-finals.
These payments increase to £2.1m for the semi-finals with the winners netting a cool £7.6million - which means that means Arsenal have a potential of £41m of Europa League earnings.
While a lot of that is dependent on whether fans can attend matches and on-field results, it means Arsenal have a guaranteed £6.2m more immediately following Saturday's triumph, which could be used to land Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid.
