February half term isn't the driest of school breaks, so many families look further afield for a bit of warm weather.
But with so many places to choose from it can be hard to pick somewhere that is both suitable for families and affordable.
That's why a new list highlighting the 50 best family-friendly city breaks in Europe is a sure fire hit with parents.
Researchers who compiled the list for Play Like Mum looked into a number of common factors that parents look for when looking for a family break, from the average cost of family rooms to the weather and the number of family attractions.
Coming out on top for the number of family-friendly attractions is London , which has 539 in fact.
The cheapest family room is Kiev, in the Ukraine, where you'd pay £70 for a week, based on a family of three, while the largest choice of family rooms can be found in Rome, where there are 4,165 to choose from.
The safest city, based on the Safety Index Score, is Germany's Munich.
And if you're looking to escape the rain - who isn't - then you might want to head to Madrid, which has on average 61 days of rain per year, Barcelona with 80 days, Rome with 83, or Portugal's Lisbon with 84.
To compile the data, researchers used Booking.com to price up the cities on the basis of two adults and one 12 year old visiting from August 1 to 8, 2019, searching for properties with family rooms available.
Taking all the factors into account, they came up with a list of top 50 destinations of Europe’s most family-friendly city breaks. Here's the list...
