Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has confirmed that three players are back in contention to feature for the Cherries against West Ham this weekend, including captain Simon Francis.
The Cherries have been hit by injury problems in recent weeks, with as many as eight or nine players sidelined in recent weeks.
But Howe has some selection decisions to make for tomorrow's game against West Ham at the Vitality Stadium, with Francis, Lloyd Kelly and Arnaut Groeneveld all available to face the Hammers after featuring against Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
And the Bournemouth boss has spoken of what the return of the trio means for his squad ahead of the game.
“It makes the squad stronger and to have our captain, Simon Francis back in our ranks is a huge lift and to have the other two players we’ve signed in the summer we’ve got high hope for," he said, speaking at his pre-match press conference.
“It’s great for the group and I’m really excited for what lies ahead because if we got one or two bodies back fit, we’ve still got three or four quality players to come back in and make us even better.”
Howe is still without five players for the game though, with David Brooks, Charlie Daniels, Dan Gosling, Adam Smith and Junior Stanislas all sidelined through injury.
Gosling and Brooks are expected to be out until mid-October, while there are currently no return dates for Smith, who has a hamstring injury, and Stanislas and Daniels, who are both out with knee injuries.
