Earlier this week, we covered the five worst deals handed out by NBA teams during a flurry of moves in a very abbreviated offseason, from Gordon Hayward’s mammoth deal that seemed like a head-scratcher for the Charlotte Hornets to the Detroit Pistons handing out a lot of money to Mason Plumlee.

The day after Thanksgiving is a perfect time to do the flip side — the best new contracts fans of certain NBA teams should be thankful for, mostly because they deliver a whole bunch of bang for the bucks.

Here are the best deals thus far from the 2020 NBA offseason:
