The transfer window ahead of the 2019/20 season in the Premier League has closed but that has not drawn an end to the speculation, particularly as the European window closes at a later date.
After a summer that saw the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea lose big players due to their contract situations, namely Aaron Ramsey, Ander Herrera and Eden Hazard.
However, there is an opportunity for the trio to get revenge in January and other Premier League clubs can also get in on the act by taking advantage of players across Europe who see their contract expire at the end of the season.
Clubs in England will have an advantage in this regard as you are able to agree a pre-contract with players set to become free agents next summer from January 1st, as long as they currently play abroad.
