The draw for the group stages of the Europa League will take place on Friday.
Arsenal will be in pot one for the draw in Monaco, with Manchester United joining them as top seeds.
And fellow Premier League side Wolves will be hoping to join them following their play-off round second leg on Thursday.
Arsenal missed out on the chance to play Champions League football last season when they finished fifth in the Premier League and then lost the Europa League final to Chelsea, meaning their London rivals made it into Europe's elite competition instead.
The draw will take place in Monaco on Friday at 12pm UK time.
The 48 entrants are split into four seeding pots based on their club coefficients, with each of the eventual 12 groups to contain one team from each seeding tier.
No team can play a club from their own association, with the exact draw procedure confirmed before the ceremony.
Here are the 42 teams battling it out for the final 21 places in Friday's draw.
