A cheap and cheerful cleaning hack that makes washing machine drawers sparkle has left homeowners in awe.
Kell Taylor shared before and after pictures of her washing machine on popular Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips - and the results more than impressive.
Her first photo showed a grimy drawer, while the second image showed the exact same drawer looking sparkling clean.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Kell then shared exactly how she did it - although she admitted the task was a "job and a half".
She said: "I’m new to all this hinching and it’s still not 100% clean but I got most of it off! And this I’ll be doing now twice a month.
"I used Platinum Fairy on the drawer with my Dishmatic brush and a old toothbrush to get in the small gaps, and I used bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar to remove all odours and smells.
"I then went over it with mould and mildew spray! And I stubbed and soaked the drawer in hot water and mould and mildew spray too! And then put it on a 90 degree wash!"
The woman behind the post confirmed that she has since continued to use the technique to keep on top of the grime.
She told us: "I do it every few months to keep on top of it.
"I don’t get half as much build-up of mould on my washer now or any bad smells since."
