The 4 areas of Nottingham with 50 or more Covid cases

Four neighbourhoods of Nottingham city have now recorded 50 or more cases of Covid-19.

Clifton South has recorded 60 cases and there has been a total of 58 cases in Beechdale.

In Forest Fields, a total of 53 cases have been recorded and there has been 50 cases in the Wollaton Park ward.

The data is from Nottingham City Council's weekly Covid-19 surveillance report.

The latest report was released on Thursday, August 20. It is roughly one week behind and shows a total of 32 new cases were recorded in the city during the week to August 16.

Data shows that the 32 cases were registered in the city last week - the highest tally since June 15, when the weekly total was again at 32, compared to 16 cases the previous week.

In total, the city has recorded 1,286 cases since the start of the pandemic in the UK, in February.

The surveillance report breaks down the number of positive tests for each MSOA - middle super output area - which are hyper-local areas used for census and data calculation.
