Edinburgh's not short on places to eat out – there are some fantastic restaurants serving up dishes from across the continent waiting to be visited.
And of the many, many restaurants scattered across the city, 39 of them have been recognised as the very best in the ultimate AA Guide for 2020.
So basically, these are the places you need to try in the next year – if time, and your wallet, allows.
Included in the comprehensive round-up is everything from the Thai delights at Chaophraya and the amazing Japanese food at Harajuku Kitchen to the Michelin star winners Restaurant Martin Wishart and The Kitchin.
A full run-down of all 39 restaurants can be found below.
While these are the 39 restaurants recognised in the 'Edinburgh' section of the AA guide, it's worth pointing out that there are some other top places, not too far from home, which have earned a mention of their own.
