Most communities in Wales have no current Covid cases according to the latest data.
Though there are four places in Wales that had had more than 100 cases per 100,000 people in the last week (up from two last week), yet there are many others that have virtually no coronavirus at all.
Of the 410 areas of Wales, some 353 have had fewer than two cases of coroanvirus in the last week. At that point Public Health Wales stops publishing data as it might identify individuals.
Despite the promising figures, there is still significantly more coronavirus than when the Welsh Government opened outdoor hospitality last July. You can read more on that here.
However the Covid situation is now so good that Mark Drakeford announced a moving forward of several planned reopening sand has now given a date for indoor hospitality to resume. He has also i ndicated that there may be no more lockdowns in the future.
Every day Public Health Wales publishes hyper-local data which includes areas with an average of 7,000 people, called Middle Super Output Areas. In practice, this means there are statistics for areas like Canton in Cardiff, Morriston in Swansea and Porth in Rhondda.
You can search for your area in the table at the bottom of the article. It should be stressed that even if your area is listed below that this doesn't mean that you do not need to follow Covid rules. Just because there are not cases doesn't mean there is not asymptomatic transmission.
