The 3 worst trade destinations for Steelers WR Antonio Brown

One thing about Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown is clear. He likes to be in control. Brown always wants to dictate whatever scenario he is in. Because of this, there has to be some anxiety for Brown as he’s a requested a trade from Pittsburgh but has no say in where he lands. And trust me, there are some teams where Brown wouldn’t be very happy. Here are the three worst landing spots for Brown.

New York Jets

If Brown didn’t like the media in Pittsburgh, how will he handle the New York media when he starts his antics? And Brown being traded to the Jets means he gets second-year quarterback Sam Darnold throwing him the football. If he ever wondered if Brown would miss having Ben Roethlisberger, a few games with Darnold throwing him the ball will help clarify it.

Buffalo Bills

Buffalo is the perfect storm of everything Brown would hate. Like the Jets, the media would be brutal. And like in New York the weather is dreadful. Also, like in New York, the Bills have a questionable second-year quarterback at the helm. Adding to the mix with the Bills are the fans. Steelers’ fans don’t hold back on Brown and you know that is a shot to his ego but Bills’ fans are nuts. They douse each other in condiments and jump through flaming tables for fun. Brown has a diva moment and those fans will turn on him.

Oakland Raiders

Finally, we have the Raiders. In terms of the quarterback position, they are the best of this list but it still doesn’t approach what Brown has with Roethlisberger. The stable of skill players is completely subpar compared to Pittsburgh. But the main reason this team makes the list is head coach Jon Gruden. He is the absolute worst coach to pair up with a player who has gotten preferential treatment for much of his career.
