The 25 best paying companies to work for in 2019

Ever looked at a job advert and been frustrated to find it just says “competitive salary”?

Quite often it’s unclear how much a company is willing to pay for a job.

Luckily, jobsite Glassdoor has asked how much people earn in particular roles - and then figured out which companies pay the most money.

One business paid employees a whopping £90,000 on average, while even the 25th best was still an impressive salary of above £60,000 on average.

John Lamphiere, Glassdoor's European managing director, said: “Salary is a key driver for many job seekers so we have made it easy for people to find out which employers are offering the most money.

"While salary and bonuses might get people in the door, it is more likely to be culture and career progression that help people stick around in the long term."

So what industries are they in? Well it might not surprise you to learn they are all finance or tech companies, except for one.

And only three of the top 25 are British, while the other 22 are all headquartered overseas.

“It is no surprise that multinational tech and finance firms dominate the list, given that both industries compete fiercely for talent, especially when it comes to tech roles," Lamphiere added.

This is who pays what.
