The 24 reasons Bristol is a terrible place to live and visit

Forgive the sarcasm but sometimes it is good for us all to sit back and take in and appreciate what we have.

As a news website, we see our fair share of detractors who see nothing good in where we live or what takes place around us.

And we can see why, it's not like the city isn't routinely voted as one of the best places to live for numerous reasons in the UK.

With so little to do, iminimal character, terrible views and it's just a bit dull.

So here - with tongue planted firmly in cheek - we've highlighted the worst 24 factors about the city to see whether or not you agree.

First off, its just ugly

No to mention in the winter

There's nowhere good to eat

There’s no history

It's just so sleepy and provincial

If you want culture you’ll have to go to London

The streets all look the same

It's just grey urban sprawl

And the centre is even worse

There’s nothing to do there

And it’s just full of hideous 1960s office blocks

And there’s vandalism everywhere

Preparations are well underway for Upfest, the Urban Paint Festival around the North Street area of Southville (Dan Regan)

And there’s no open spaces

And nowhere to relax

Not to mention the people, they’re so unfriendly

And uptight

And everyone dresses the same

There’s hardly any music

And no good art

Or sport

It's not like there are any good local traditions

The city isn't known for anything special

And nothing ever happens here
