The 23-year Premier League record Everton will be looking to inflict on Manchester United

Everton host Manchester United on Sunday and will be looking for another big home scalp to add to recent victories over Arsenal and Chelsea.

Marco Silva's side will need to bounce back from defeat to Fulham to continue their late bid to finish in a Europa League position.

It will be a tough task for the Blues when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side come to town but not an impossible one given United's recent run of form which has seen them lose four of their last six matches.

If the Toffees do come away from the 1.30pm kick off with win it will mean the Manchester club have lost three Premier League away games in a row - something they have not done since 1996.

Everton’s only previous league win, and Manchester United’s only previous league defeat, on Easter Sunday came in this exact fixture in the 2013-14 campaign (Everton 2-0 Man Utd) so the omens look good for an upset this weekend.

In addition to the obvious positives, should the Blues come away with three points, a victory would also mean Everton have won three home league games in a row against the so-called 'big six' sides - a feat they last achieved in the domestic competition in March 2012.
