The 2021 Deals & Dealmakers Awards have now opened for entries.
On the evening of Thursday 2 December at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Glasgow Central, Insider will acknowledge and reward excellence in Scottish corporate finance transactions.
The ceremony and dinner recognises the bankers, venture capitalists, lawyers and accountants who initiate, structure and negotiate deals for growing organisations.
The awards are based on deals completed by this community in the fiscal year 2020/21.
The deadline for entries is 27 September. The process then involves registration, a questionnaire, then a full interview if successful in moving through to next stage. Judging is conducted by an independent panel of experts.
Categories include: Acquisitive Company of the Year, Corporate Finance Team of the Year, Early Stage Deal of the Year, Funder of the Year, Legal Adviser of the Year, SME Deal of the Year, and of course the overall Deal of the Year 2021.
With hundreds of people attending - made up of dealmakers, bankers, lawyers and sponsors - the event makes for the ideal networking opportunity.
The dinner itself is not only an opportunity to share a room with some of the leading players in Scottish dealmaking; it is also an entertaining evening with a high profile guest speaker.
