The 2020 Six Nations Player of the Tournament shortlist as Wales stars are overlooked

France scrum-half Antoine Dupont heads up the shortlist for the 2020 Six Nations Player of the Tournament.

The diminutive playmaker wreaked havoc in this year's competition, producing some astute tactical performances. He will be many people's favourite to claim the award.

There are no Welsh players featuring on the shortlist, perhaps unsurprisingly, given the dismal campaign that produced a solitary victory over Italy in the first round.

Dupont is joined on the shortlist by fellow Frenchman Romain Ntamack and Gregory Alldritt.

Title-winners England have a two-man representation on the shortlist in the form of second row Maro Itoje and scrum-half Ben Youngs.

CJ Stander is the lone Irishman on the list, while Scotland and Italy, like Wales, are overlooked.

Six Nations 2020 Player of the Tournament shortlist: Gregory Alldritt, Antoine Dupont, Maro Itoje, Romain Ntamack, CJ Stander and Ben Youngs.
