The 2020 Dublin Racing Festival: Race times, ticket and transport info, betting tips, TV info, entertainment and more for the racing at Leopardstown

The biggest party is set to be at Leopardstown this weekend as the Dublin Racing Festival rolls into town.

A recent innovation, the two-day festival has become a massive hit with punters with tens of thousands expected at the Dublin track.

Racing fans will be treated to top-class jump racing - the last big meeting before eyes turn to the Cheltenham Festival.

And there is also plenty to keep everyone entertained with the likes of music legends Aslan providing entertainment.

Here is all you need to know about the 2020 Dublin Racing Festival:

When is it on?

The Dublin Racing Festival takes place this weekend on Saturday, 1 February and Sunday, 2 February.

What time does it start at?

The first race on Saturday will go off at 12.50pm before the seventh and final race takes place at 4.20pm.

On Sunday, the first race is set go off at 12.55pm and the eighth and final race at 4.35pm.

What channel is it on?

If you can't make it to the races, both RTE 2 and Racing TV will be showing live coverage of the action.

How can I get tickets?

Tickets can be bought on the Leopardstown Racecourse website with it €50 for two-day an adult admission for both Saturday and Sunday. It is €30 for an adult admission on either day.

And students and senior citizens can buy one-day tickets for €20. 

All children under the age of 18 can get in for free, however they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is over 18.

How can I get there?

There will be a complimentary shuttle bus running from Blackrock DART station and Sandyford LUAS stop. 

Blackrock DART shuttle bus

PICK UP from Blackrock - 11am, 11:40am, 12:20pm
RETURN to Blackrock – 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 8.15pm 

Sandyford LUAS shuttle bus

10am to 8:00pm approx.

Is there music acts on?

Yes, if you go on Saturday, you can watch the Ireland v Scotland match on the big screen before Aslan take to the stage at 6.30pm.
