The 2019 Cards Wire dueling mock drafts

While we write about many, many mock drafts every year leading up to the NFL draft and run many simulations of the draft for the Arizona Cardinals and their picks, only once a year do I complete my own mock draft of the first round.

It is featured on the podcast the week of the draft. In previous years, I have nailed the selections for Arizona, like Robert Nkemdiche in 2016 and Haason Reddick in 2017.

Other picks like Josh Rosen last year or D.J. Humphries in 2015 were completely out of the blue for me.

Revenge of the Birds’ Seth Cox and I shared our final 2019 mock draft in the latest episode of the podcast. Listen to the episode for the commentary.

Who do the Cardinals pick? How does the rest of the first round play out?
