Chart-toppers The 1975 will play live in Newcastle on their upcoming UK and Ireland tour.
The band - who will release their third album, Notes on a Conditional Form, next year - will play at Newcastle Arena on Sunday February 16, 2020, on the second date of their UK and Ireland tour.
It will be a homecoming show for frontman Matty Healy. The Newcastle United fan grew up in Northumberland before moving to the Manchester area, where he met his fellow band mates.
Tickets for the UK tour go on sale on Friday September 20.
Restrictions on tickets are in place to combat touts. The lead bookers name will be printed on all tickets they purchase, and the lead booker must attend the concert alongside those they have bought tickets for. When the lead booker attends the show they will be asked to present matching Photo ID to gain entry to the Arena.
