Manchester United could hand opportunities to Brandon Williams and James Garner in Wednesday night's Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea.
According to the Manchester Evening News , the youngsters have travelled with the senior squad for the fourth round fixture in West London.
The Red Devils have endured a mixed season season and sit in seventh position in the Premier League going into the clash at Stamford Bridge.
With a place in the top four difficult to come by, success in a cup competition could be of the utmost importance to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he looks to bring silverware to Old Trafford.
The inclusion of the duo is not a surprise since Solskjaer all-but confirmed their involvement following victory over Norwich City at the weekend.
Asked if they'll be involved, he said: "I would think so.
"Jimmy played 10-15 minutes tonight and was excellent, calmed us down and made some good decisions when we wanted to see the game out.
"We have not made a decision on who is going to play, but you will probably see the two of them."
While Williams and Garner have travelled, there's a number of big stars who won't be involved.
David De Gea has not travelled, while the likes of Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Vidic, Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah miss out through injury.
Mason Greenwood, Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong also didn't travel, but could link up with the squad after their under-21s EFL Trophy clash on Tuesday night.
Man United's 18-man travelling squad: Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Ashley Young, Brandon Williams, Fred, James Garner, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Daniel James, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial.
