More than 150 people are vying for 31 seats in May's upcoming Liverpool Council elections.
A total of 168 candidates are standing in the city's thirty wards, with a by-election meaning voters in one area picking two councillors.
Elections to Liverpool Council are only one of the votes that people in the city will cast, with votes also electing a city mayor, metro mayor and police and crime commissioner.
Voters in all wards will be given the option of electing either a Labour, Conservative, Green or Liberal Democrat candidate, with the four parties standing in all of the city's wards.
The Liberal Party are standing in all but two wards, with the only other party standing in more than one ward, the Trade Union Socialist Coalition (TUSC), fielding five candidates.
