Many of us are looking for ways to save money this winter with the cost of living crisis in full swing.
Using the oven for lengthy amounts of time can rack up your energy bills, but some things - such as jacket potatoes - can take hours.
It's the perfect hearty winter meal, but if you don't want to risk your bills skyrocketing even more, there's a convenient way to slash the cooking time and help you prepare the dish in just 15 minutes.
Recipe company Mob has shared how to cook a crispy baked potato in a fraction of the time - and all you need to do is pop it in the microwave and then the air fryer, the Express reports.
Not only does it do the job much quicker, but air fryers and microwaves are also cheaper to run than ovens.
The TikTok video began with: "I want to make a jacket potato for lunch and I’m going to use the air fryer.
"I haven’t done this before so I’m going to start off like normal, poking and then putting it in the microwave."
After piercing the raw potato in several places with a fork, it was then microwaved for seven minutes.
When the timer went off, the video showed that the baked potato was cooked on the inside, while the voiceover continued: "This has had six-seven minutes in the microwave - it’s quite squishy."
Next, the potato was seasoned: "Oil is a must then salt," which was rubbed all over.
"Seven minutes in the air fryer, let’s see what it’s going to do," the tutorial continued. After seven minutes, the potato was removed and it was golden brown and crispy.
"I don’t know what I was expecting but it has a really nice crispy skin,” the video added.
"You can then add whatever filling you want - I went for just butter and cheese as I wanted to taste the potato rather than the fillings."
This cooking method seemed to do the trick, with the video concluding: "It’s so tasty - the skin is really crispy the insides fluffy and it tastes great!"
People in the comments were quick to praise the hack, with one person saying: "Just had this, love them."
While another added: "Perfect! Just needs salt and pepper."
