The 15 fantasy football bargains you should transfer in to your Fantasy Premier League team

The Premier League is back this weekend.

After a two-week hiatus for the international break, top flight English action returns.

And that means that fantasy football is back on the agenda.

Fantasy Premier League players have until 11.30am on Saturday to sort out their team for this weekend, with no Friday Night Football on the cards this week.

Three of the big six face home matches on Saturday, with Liverpool playing host to Newcastle, Manchester United up against Leicester City and Tottenham welcoming Crystal Palace to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The other three big teams are away, with Chelsea facing a tricky trip to Wolves, Man City going to Norwich City for the Saturday evening kick-off and Arsenal travelling to Watford on Super Sunday.

So who should you be bringing into your team for this weekend?

Do you have one transfer to make, or have you saved one from a previous week and are able to make two?

Whatever you do, you may need to save money.

So here we take a look at the biggest bargains in Fantasy Premier League ahead of the weekend's action.

Premier League 2019/20 September fixtures

Nick Pope - £4.6m - 15 points

Burnley keeper is the highest performing goalkeeper so far this season. They have an away game with Brighton this weekend.

Patrick van Aanholt - £5.6m - 24 points

The highest-scoring defender in the game so far. Palace have a tricky trip to Spurs, but in the last game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the away side came away with a 1-0 win.

Jannik Vestergaard - £5.0m - 22 points

Southampton have an away game against Sheffield United.

Fabian Schar - £5.0m - 19 points

Newcastle do travel to Liverpool, but historically they are high-scoring games. Can Schar add to his tally?

Erik Pieters - £5.0m - 19 points

If you're backing Burnley for a clean sheet at Brighton, Pieters is your man.

Joel Ward - £4.5m - 18 points

Another Palace defender who is a steal.

John Lundstram - £4.2m - 18 points

Midfielder who scores goals, but is down as a defender on the game. Worth a shot.

Mason Mount - £6.4m - 22 points

Already has two Premier League goals. Back the Chelsea youngster for more.

Daniel James - £6.1m - 21 points

Manchester United star has been on fire since joining from Swansea. A steal at £6.1m.

Todd Cantwell - £4.8m - 21 points

Norwich take on Man City, which will be tough, but going forward they could cause problems.

Will Hughes - £5.5m - 19 points

A standout in a poor campaign for Watford so far. If there's a new manager bounce, he could be at the heart of it.

Teemu Pukki - £7.0m - 37 points

Ashley Barnes - £6.7m - 27points

On fire so far this season and will be up against his old club on Saturday. Back him to score.
