The 13 Bristol areas that may now be Covid-free

Thirteen areas across Bristol may now be free of coronavirus, according to government data.

The latest figures show 13 postcodes have less than three cases - which means their data has been suppressed, compared to eight neighbourhoods just days ago.

A total of 23 locations across the city now have a Covid rate per 100,000 population below 50.

Areas in South Gloucestershire's which are now almost Covid free have increased from five to ten in just two days, while North Somerset's has climbed from eight to ten -the latest seven-day rolling data up to March 3 reveals.

Where is the data coming from?

You can see the latest national data on the government's website.

The map displays weekly data, which are updated everyday.

The data can be viewed by local authority but also by smaller sections called 'Middle Super Output Areas'.

The map highlights which areas of the nation have three or more confirmed cases of the virus and colour co-coordinates the areas by how many cases they have.
