Glaswegians are known to be some of the friendliest people in the world and nothing screams camaraderie then sipping on a steaming brew and having a giggle with your pals as you take comfort inside one of the many great coffee shops in the city.
The best places to get a quality caffeine fix in Scotland have been revealed - and there's 12 in Glasgow. More than 120 coffee shops, cafes, roasteries and trainers were recognised in the sixth edition of the Independent Coffee Guide Scotland.
Competition was scorching hot and only Glasgow's best establishments have made it into the guide following a strict entry criteria.

You'll be able to find out everything you need to know about coffee in the latest edition of the guide. Its contents include write-ups and maps of where you'll be able to find the delicious drinks.
Kathryn Lewis, the Editor, said: “One of my favourite things about the Glasgow speciality scene is the diversity of its venues. From coffee bars celebrating island vibes to uber-historic cafes celebrating cultures from across the globe, each coffee shop, cafe and roastery offers a unique experience.
“Like a coffee-loving friend with connections across the country, this book is designed to guide you to the best speciality spots in Glasgow and beyond. You know the kind of places: those little backstreet brew bars hidden in plain sight, the off-the-beaten-track roastery cafes, and the multifaceted venues that also happen to craft a damn good flat white.”
