The 12 teams aiming to join Liverpool in the Champions League group stage draw

Liverpool will discover their Champions League group stage opponents on Thursday with 12 teams still battling it for a seat at Europe's top table.

The final stage of the play-offs are due to be completed in the next two days with just six places left up for grabs entering the second leg of matches.

Last season's semi-finalists Ajax remain in a goalless deadlock with Cypriot outfit APOEL Nicosia while Olympiakos have a 4-0 advantage over Krasnodar.

Tottenham Hotspur, who were beaten by Liverpool in Madrid , are in pot two for the main draw while Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City take their place in pot one.
