Nottingham Forest will hope patience pays off as they wait to make their first signing of the transfer window.
So far, it has been a quiet summer for many Championship clubs - and the Reds are no different.
Forest are well aware how crucial it is to get their recruitment spot on this year, having come in for criticism on that front in the past.
An overhaul of the squad is needed to get them challenging at the top end of the table next season, and bringing in the right players will be key.
