As Korean entertainment continues to take over the globe, U.S. streamers are committed to building up their selection of K-dramas. While Prime Video may not have as extensive a roster as Netflix, Hulu, or Viki, its K-drama catalog has many underrated gems, alongside a great selection of Korean movies.

'Anna' (2022)

In this melodrama, Bae Suzy plays a woman who lives a grand, unpredictable life because of a series of small lies. Yu-mi (Bae) is a beautiful and talented high school student, but her working-class roots hinder her. When she's rejected from a prestigious university, she tells her parents that she got accepted. As she uses her beauty and a few small untruths to build and maintain her life of luxury, Anna ultimately realizes she has become someone she despises.

'Death's Game' (2023–2024)

Based on the hit WEBTOON of the same name, Death’s Game is a high-concept thriller about the meaning of life. Choi Yi-jae (Boyfriend on Demand's Seo In-guk) is at the end of his rope, after seven years of unsuccessful job hunting and falling victim to an investment scam. Yi-jae decides to end his life, but the embodiment of Death (Parasite’s Park So-dam) stops him. Instead of sending him to eternal torture, Death decides to teach him a lesson by reincarnating him into 12 lives in danger of imminent death. If Yi-jae can survive and realize why his previous choices were wrong, he can live out the remainder of his life.

'Good Boy' (2025)

After leading When Life Gives You Tangerines, Park Bo-gum starred in this action series about former athletes who find redemption through their new careers in the police force. Former boxer Yoon Dong-ju (Park) was a gold medalist before his career ended due to false doping allegations. Ji Han-na (Love Alarm’s Kim Soo-hyun), a former ace sharpshooter, now follows in her father’s policeman footsteps. Kim Jong-hyeon (Bloodhounds star Lee Sang-yi) is a retired star fencer and Han-na’s ex. When the trio unexpectedly play key roles in a drug bust, they form a scrappy police unit to fight government corruption.

'Head Over Heels' (2025)

This adorable high-school romance stands out thanks to a heavy dose of the supernatural. Park Sung-a (All of Us Are Dead’s Cho Yi-hyun) is a bubbly teen who secretly moonlights as a popular Korean shaman. Her life changes when she falls in love at first sight with transfer student Bae Gyeon-woo (The Trauma Code’s Choo Young-woo)...as she receives a premonition of his imminent death. Unfortunately, Gyeon-woo is a distrusting skeptic, so Sung-a takes it upon herself to protect him from his fatal curse.

'The Killing Vote' (2023)

In this thrilling drama adapted from a webtoon, vigilante justice is determined by a survey. All citizens over 18 receive a text message that polls their opinion about a heinous criminal who avoided legal punishment; if more than 50 percent of people respond in favor of a death sentence, Gaetal (which translates to "Dog Mask") kills that person. As police chase after Gaetal and attempt to stop the killings, three people (played by Park Hae-jin, Park Sung-woong, and The Glory's Lim Ji-yeon) become involved.

'Marry My Husband' (2024)

Prime Video’s biggest K-drama hit so far, this fantasy melodrama has a jaw-dropping set-up. Kang Ji-won (Park Min-young) lives a miserable life with her deadbeat husband (Lee Yi-kyung) and abusive mother-in-law (Jung Kyung-soon). After a terminal cancer diagnosis, Ji-won walks in on her husband, Min-hwan, sleeping with her lifelong best friend, Jeong Su-min (Song Ha-yoon). The trio’s confrontation ends in Ji-won’s death…but then she wakes up 10 years in the past. Ji-won soon becomes determined to change her fate by setting Su-min up to become Min-hwan’s wife. Helping Ji-won with her plot is Yu Ji-hyuk (Na In-woo), her wealthy boss who has also been transported back in time. 'May I Help You?' (2022)

On the first day of her new job as a funeral director, Baek Dong-joo (Reply 1998's Lee Hye-ri) discovers that she has the power to briefly resurrect and talk to the recently deceased when she touches them. These people often have last wishes, and Dong-joo has to grant 21 wishes in total to be freed of this power. Meanwhile, Kim Tae-hee (Lee Jun-young)—who works as a man for hire under the name Kim Jip-sa—encounters Dong-joo when her boyfriend hires him to break up with her in his stead. As their paths continue to cross, their jobs and fates become intertwined in a series of life and death situations surrounding the wishes of the dead.

'My Roommate is a Gumiho' (2021)

Hye-ri stars in this fantasy rom-com featuring one of Korea's best-known creatures from folklore, the nine-tailed fox. The titular gumiho, Shin Woo-yeo (Jang Ki-yong), has lived for 999 years and has stored up human energy in a bead to become human. One day, he encounters university student Lee Dam (Hye-ri) as she's trying to help her drunk friend, and in the shuffle, the bead falls out of Woo-yeo's mouth and into Dam's. The bead can survive inside a human for only one year; if they don't get it out, they will die. Not wanting to lose his chance to become human, Woo-yeo suggests living together until they figure out a solution.

'Newtopia' (2025)

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Park Jeong-min star in this rom-com take on Korea’s beloved zombie drama. Lee Jae-yoon (Park) and Kang Young-joo (Jisoo) have been struggling with their newly long-distance relationship, since Jae-yoon began his mandatory military service. On the same day that they break up, a zombie virus sweeps through Seoul. Stuck at the top of the city’s largest building, Jae-yoon has to fight his way downstairs to reunite with his love.

'No Gain No Love' (2024)

This romantic K-drama is for fans who want two swoon-worthy love stories (and a murder subplot, because K-drama). Son Hae-young (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha's Shin Min-a) is a cynical, ambitious woman who won't let anything get in the way of her pursuit of money. When she comes up with an outrageous money-making scheme, a fake wedding, she finds a groom in Kim Ji-wook (Kim Young-dae), her local convenience-store clerk, who can't help but find her irresistible. Meanwhile, Ha-young's bestie, spicy web novelist Nam Ja-yeon (Han Ji-hyun), becomes embroiled with Ha-young's boss, CEO Bok Gyu-hyun (Lee Sang-yi). 'Spring Fever' (2026)

Spring Fever is the latest entry to the "city girl goes to the countryside and falls in love" rom-com subgenre. Yoon Bom (Lee Joo-bin) is a teacher from Seoul who was once known by nicknames like "story slayer" and "goddess of temptation." But when a scandal leads her to take a new job in the small provincial town of Sinsu, she's determined to live a gloomy life. That gets a lot more difficult when she meets Seon Jae-gyu (Ahn Bo-hyun), the local bad boy with a secret heart of gold.
