Tottenham have a significant advantage over their Europa League rivals this season.
Jose Mourinho and his men are preparing to kick off their Europa League campaign with their opening group stage fixture against LASK set for Thursday.
And they will kick off the competition knowing they have a considerable advantage over the rest of the clubs in the competition, including North London rivals Arsenal.
Bet Victor have discovered that Spurs have by far and away the most valuable squad in the Europa League.
According to the figures, provided by the Euopean Football Index, Tottenham have a squad worth as much as £680.45 million.
That's the best part of £120million more then Arsenal's squad is worth, the Gunners valued at £562.46million.
Napoli are the only other side above £500million with a squad worth £534.58 million, while Leicester City (£410.04) and AC Milan (£368.91million) make up the top five.
The rest of the top 10 is made up by AS Roma, Bayer Leverkusen, Real Sociedad, Villarreal and Lille whose squads are all valued above the £200million mark.
As you might expect, Spurs have been rated favourites with those figures in mind, but Arsenal are joint-favourites despite having a squad worth far less than that of Tottenham's.
Neither Arsenal or Tottenham have won the competition in its current format but Spurs boss Mourinho has won it in recent years with Manchester United, lifting the trophy in 2017.
He will now be looking to repeat the feat with Tottenham but equally, Mikel Arteta will be hoping to claim his first European crown in what is his first full season in charge of Arsenal.
