The 11-year record Swansea City could break v Rotherham and the stat that will concern Graham Potter

Swansea City have just five games remaining in their first campaign under Graham Potter.

And having slumped to a truly miserable 4-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road last time out - a result that Potter admitted ended his side's play-off hopes - the Swans will be aiming to bounce back with victory over Rotherham United side on their home patch this afternoon.

Potter's troops have been formidable at the Liberty Stadium in 2019, with Man City being the only side to emerge victorious at the home of the Swans since the turn of the year.

The Swans are gunning for their sixth consecutive home triumph in the Championship today having beaten Millwall, Bolton, Brentford, Middlesbrough and Stoke City in their last five league matches in South Wales.

And if they do manage to claim all three points against the Millers, it will be Swansea's best run of home league victories since the 2007/08 campaign.

The Swans embarked on a 10-game winning streak at home in the league as they gained promotion into the Championship under Roberto Martinez.

That incredible run started with a 1-0 home win over Hartlepool United on November 27, 2007 but was ended after a 2-1 defeat to Millwall on March 7, 2008.

But there's one statistic that will no doubt concern the Swans ahead of the clash with Paul Warne's side.

The Millers - currently in 22nd place in the Championship - have been hugely impressive from set plays this season, an area that has been something of an Achilles heel defensively for Swansea.

And nine of Rotherham's last 12 league goals have come from set-pieces. Of those nine, four have come from throw-ins, three from corners while they have also netted a free-kick and a penalty.

Given that Swansea have been undone by set plays against the likes of QPR, Nottingham Forest and West Brom of late, Warne's side will undoubtedly look to target the Swans from set pieces at the Liberty today.

"We won't be able to achieve what we want to achieve if we don't get better in those situations so again it wasn't good enough," said Potter about set plays after his side's loss to QPR.

"We have to try and find a way to be better at that because clearly, it's an area that will hold us back if we don't improve."
