The 11 Tottenham players left at home for Europa Conference League clash vs Vitesse

Tottenham made it back-to-back wins in the Premier League on Sunday with a 3-2 win away to Newcastle United at St. James' Park.

The victory helped to ease the pressure on under-fire manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who's position had looked increasingly uncertain during a run of three straight defeats before the international break.

But goals from Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min ensured the Lilywhites picked up a crucial three points and pooped the new Newcastle owners' welcome party.

Nuno will undoubtedly be eager to maintain that momentum when Spurs face Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night.

In their two Group G games in the competition so far they remain unbeaten, drawing 2-2 with Rennes in France before thrashing Slovenians NS Mura in north London 5-1.

However, Nuno has confirmed that it will be a completely different side who will line up in the Netherlands on Thursday night, with 11 players set to be left at home completely.

A hint was given the day before the match when the club released footage from the club's training session, in which none of the 10 outfield players from Sunday's victory were present and Nuno confirmed none of them would travel.

"No it's not about that [not caring about the competition]," he told his pre-match press conference.

"If you're always thinking about the risk you cannot decide. It's about trying to analyse and seeing what's best for us this week and next week when we have another midweek game. We respect all competitions."

These are the players who will miss out:

Hugo Lloris

Sergio Reguillon

Eric Dier

Cristian Romero

Emerson Royal

Oliver Skipp

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Lucas Moura

Tanguy Ndombele

Son Heung-Min

Harry Kane
