The 11 best Rangers celebration pictures as Steven Gerrard's stars soak up impending title glory

It's been on the cards for months but Rangers are on the brink of bringing the Scottish Premiership title back to Govan.

With a massive 21-point lead at the top of the table coupled with far superior goal difference it's all but impossible for Celtic to catch Steven Gerrard's side.

Fans and players alike got the party started early yesterday at Ibrox as Rangers cruised to a 3-0 win over St Mirren, which coupled with any slip-up from the Hoops against Dundee United would guarantee 55.

The pressure was on to end the dominance of their greatest rivals and their 10 In A Row bid, but the relief and joy was clear to see.

Record Sport takes a look at some of the best snaps taken with Rangers on the cusp of glory.
