The latest Covid-19 figures have revealed the areas of Leeds with the lowest infection rates.
In somewhat of a surprising outcome, Leeds' City Centre has recorded the lowest coronavirus infection rate in the city.
Over the past few months, the city centre had been one of the most badly affected of all areas with an LS postcode.
But the recent statistics show that the city centre has the lowest rates, significantly lower than some towns and villages on the city's outskirts.
Yesterday figures showed Leeds had recorded more new coronavirus deaths and cases than anywhere else in Yorkshire in the previous 24 hours, as nine patients in the care of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust lost their lives, while 207 new cases of the killer virus were identified across the district.
However, Leeds' infection rates are continuing to fall.
As well as Leeds City Centre, Horsforth South & Rawdon and Woodhouse & Little London recorded the lowest infection rates.
Government figures also show that the infection rate of Leeds in the seven days to November 15 plummeted from 446.5 to 418.3. A total of 3,318 new cases were diagnosed in that week.
