The supermarket chain are set to roll out vegan aisles across 359 of its stores in the UK, with two bays in each of the stores dedicated to vegan products.

Shoppers will no longer have to trawl through items, with one of the aisles stocking savoury items all in one place, while another aisle will sell vegan sweet food and snacks.

And, now it has been revealed where these we will be popping up, with 11 of the new aisles being rolled out in stores across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.

Here's all the local Asda stores that will soon have a vegan aisle:

  • Glenrothes
  • St Leonards
  • Kirkcaldy

Asda's buying manager, Sarah Thornewill, told The Grocer: "We understand that customers want a quick and simple shopping experience, and this shouldn't be restricted by dietary requirements.

"By merchandising all our vegan items together, we hope to save customers time and offer inspiration, whether for those following a plant-based diet, or those looking to reduce their meat consumption."
