The '£100m' Paris Saint-Germain transfer which could be terrible news for Arsenal and Unai Emery

What does the future hold for Wilfried Zaha?

For much of the summer he looked destined to leave Crystal Palace amid links to Arsenal as well as Everton, but ended up staying put as the Eagles stood firm on his reported £80m price-tag.

Zaha has since returned to action for Palace and played a role in their surprise 2-1 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

However, talk about his future has started up again.

According to the Daily Mirror , Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a £100m move for the Ivory Coast as they attempt to soften the blow of losing Neymar to either Neymar to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

In addition, the report states that reigning Ligue 1 champions are sending a delegation to London this week in a bid to tie up a deal.

PSG are reportedly demanding close to £200m for Neymar and if that asking price is met, Zaha could be on his way to the French capital before the European transfer window shuts early next month.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson did refuse to rule out losing Zaha to a European club when speaking a couple of months ago.

"But of course I don't suppose you can ever rule out the possibility that it might happen because the transfer window in Europe is still open until the end of the month - but it is not something which I am going to worry about because it is something that I really cannot affect," he said.

Zaha to PSG would be bad news for Arsenal and Unai Emery if they were planning to make a move for the winger when the January transfer window opens.

Zaha to Arsenal was the big transfer rumour up until his international teammate Nicolas Pepe made the switch as the north London outfit had a £40m bid rejected by Crystal Palace earlier in the summer.

But come September 3, the Gunners could find that Zaha is off the market.

That would also upset some Arsenal fans who demanded the club make a £70m move for Zaha in the new year following an outrageous piece of skill in a Crystal Palace training session.
