It's a game. One where the stakes only increase at every point. Adrenaline, is what you thrive on, eternal glory awaits the winner. Only a few actually finish. Grace Becker is determined to be one of them.
The 100 Society, since I saw in a review from a respected reviewer that she didn't quite understand what it was: I'm here to spell it out. It's basically a group of people tagging a hundred locations with one symbol, to get invited to join the prestigious 100 society (kind of like the film Now You See Me).
At a high end boarding school, Grace and her mates are on tag 96. Which is when the book opens. A bit strange, but you soon get the groove. Somebody is challenging them, attacking them. Making sure they don't finish. And the closer they get, the deeper they fall in, the more dangerous it gets.
The mysterious reaper symbol, an accident with chemicals, a dark stranger in the dead of the night, a creepy watch guard and a mole.
The 100 Society was a fun book! Something different, although I would have LOVED more to be written on the society itself. Thrilling, with its own love triangle, problems and deceit, this is one book that you should read!
My Verdict:
Fun, once you get into it!
