1. 2. July figures for the Eurozone's industrial production are coming at 10 am UK time.
3. Chinese industrial production missed expectations. China's industrial production, which measures output at factories, workshops and mines in the world's second-largest economy, rose 6.1 per cent year-on-year in August, the government said on Sunday. Analysts had expected a 6.5 per cent rise.
4. Asian markets are mostly down. Japan's Nikkei is slumping, down 1.26 per cent, and the Shanghai Composite is also down 2.67 per cent. Hong Kong's Hang Seng is just slightly higher, up 0.06 per cent.
5. The race for Yo! Sushi is heating up after a new buyout firm, Mayfair Equity Partners, emerged as a frontrunner to buy the restaurant chain, in a deal valued at around £100 million.

7. Yahoo's CMO and head of media has left the company amid a report of a major shake-in Yahoo's media group. Kathy Savitt, who was one of Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer's first big hires three years ago, will become president of digital for the Hollywood studio STX Entertainment starting next month.
8. Trinity Mirror, which owns the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror, says it is in talks to complete the takeover of regional newspaper group Local World. The £200 million deal would give Trinity access to Local World's regional newspaper, such as the Nottingham Post and the Leicester Mercury.
9. UK product-testing firm Intertek buys Danish quality control business Dansk Institut for Certificering, but gives no financial details of the deal.
