The Dragons have confirmed the departures of 10 players and forwards coach Ceri Jones this summer.
Wales internationals Cory Hill and Tyler Morgan lead the names of those leaving, with Cardiff Blues and the Scarlets believed to be their respective destinations.
Fans' favourite Nic Cudd is another looking for a new team, along with hooker Rhys Lawrence and back row James Sheekey. Outside-half Jacob Botica, son of New Zealand dual-code international Frano Botica, has also been let go.
Dragons Academy squad members Dafydd Buckland, Will Griffiths, Tom Hoppe and James McCarthy will also depart the region.
Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby, said: “We thank all the players for their hard work and professionalism during their time at the region.
“All the players leave with our very best wishes for their future ambitions in rugby or away from the game.”
Coach Jones is leaving after Ryan appointed Mefin Davies to take over in charge of the forwards.
“Everyone at Dragons is grateful to Ceri for his efforts during his time at the region and we all wish him the best in the next chapter of his coaching career,” added Ryan.
The departure of stalwart Cudd, 31, is perhaps the one tinged with the most sadness. He was recently voted into a fans' all-time Dragons XV but hasn't featured since January, 2019, after suffering an ACL injury.
Internationals Ryan Bevington, Brandon Nansen and Dafydd Howells are not on the list of leavers but have not yet signed new deals, with their futures still seemingly in the balance.
The Welsh region are looking to sign Wales star Jonah Holmes and former Wallaby Joe Tomane to strengthen their squad for next season.
