The North East's falling Covid-19 infection rate has resulted in the virus being "suppressed" in several parts of the region.
There are now 10 postcodes dotted between Northumberland and County Durham where virus levels are so low, the Government won't disclose how many cases there are for fear it may identify those battling it.
Most of the postcodes are either located near the coast in North Tyneside or in Gateshead. The latter currently has the lowest infection rate among the LA7 councils.
Despite cases creeping up South of the Tyne, on the whole, the North East's levels are still falling f ollowing the four week lockdown.
PM Boris Johnson will announce on Wednesday if the region has done enough to have Tier Three restrictions lifted. That would allow hospitality venues to reopen.
Ahead of that decision, ChronicleLive recently revealed how infections are down by as much as 99% in some North East postcodes, amid calls to ease the restrictions.
However, Newcastle's top public health official - Prof Eugene Milne - admitted recently that he was “not going to hold my breath” over the prospect of the North East moving into Tier Two.
(The figures are correct for the week ending December 8, and are from the Government's interactive Covid-19 data map. Postcodes where the virus is "suppressed" have less than three confirmed infections over the course of a week)
The 'suppressed' postcodes are:

* Beacon Lough and Wrekenton (Gateshead)
* Gateshead South (Gateshead)
* Mount Pleasant and Deckham East (Gateshead)
* Wardley (Gateshead)
* Boldon Colliery (South Tyneside)
* Whitley Sands (North Tyneside)
* Tynemouth West (North Tyneside)
* Whitley Bay North (North Tyneside)
* Berwick-upon-Tweed Town (Northumberland)
